It’s spring and you know what that means? Spring Fest at Purdue! The weather is warmer, the sun is shining, why not attend the Spring Fest on April 14th and 15th. Next Saturday and Sunday this event will be going on from 10 am to 4 pm. Spring Fest is not just for college students, it’s for students of all ages. Invite your family and friends to attend this school wide event with you! Everyone will find something to enjoy
There are many hands on activities that will be available. Animals, art, astronomy, bugs and several other subjects will be explored at Spring Fest. Yes, I said bugs! The Bug Bowl is one of the most popular events held at Spring Fest. These creepy crawly creatures attract a large audience. The Bug Bowl is in its 22nd year and still going strong. Come see what these bugs are all about! If bugs are your thing there will be some very interesting activities to keep you busy. There will be a cricket spitting contest, insect art contest and roach races, just to name a few.
If bugs aren’t for you there are many other activities that will be going on throughout the weekend. Departments from many areas on campus will be present giving demonstrations and offering hands-on activities.
